Tech degree programme in Civil Engineering. The vision of the department is to provide Research-based education to the students. The faculty members are actively engaged in carrying out research activities in the areas of Structural Engineering, Geo technical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Construction Engineering, Estimation and costing Engineering, Designing and Remote Sensing Engineering. The department promotes an active industrial institute interface by participating in internships and consulting services. The department gives exposure to its students, about regular engineering curriculum as well as prepares them to face the challenges of todays corporate world, by inculcating a professional attitude in them. The Department provides excellent state of the art laboratory facilities to the students. Students are encouraged to carry out projects of Multidisciplinary nature. On placement aspect, department has done exceedingly well with students working in reputed multinationals like L&T, MEIL, NCC, NTPC and many more. The college signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with 15 MNC’s. The long term objective of the department is to contribute in the research and consultancy projects from Government as well as from other reputed companies.
