The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was started with 60 seats in 2003-04 and increased to 240 in the academic year 2023-2024.The Department also offers one M. Tech programme in Computer Science and Technology with intake of 30 seats. The department have 60 seats in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, 60 seats in Artificial Intelligence & Data Scienceand off campus with 180 seats in CSE & 60 in Artificial Intelligence from the academic year 2024-2025.
The department havehighly competent and experienced faculty members and technically proficient laboratory staff.The department faculties are continuously attending various training programs, conferences, publishing research papers and books. Our department has been conducting national and International level seminar/conferences to keep the faculty and students alongside with the latest developments in the field of technical education. Our faculty members are also the subject experts of BOS of various Autonomous colleges.
The department have state-of-the-art laboratories with modern computing facilities and high-speed LAN connection, engineering software packages, and audio-visual facilities. The department boasts highly skilled staff with specializations in fields including data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence with well-equipped computing infrastructure.Each class room in CSE is furnished with an ICT facility.
